Scenic Courses and Quality Stays

Coffs Harbour and the adjoining coastline offers so much for a golfer tour in Australia. There is ofcourse the nearby Bonville Golf Resort, considered to be one of the most beautiful golf courses in Australian golf and voted as Australia’s most popular golf course. Coffs Harbour Golf Club offers a championship 27 holes around creeks and ponds and has hosted the best of Australian and world golf.

Nambucca Heads, just 30 minutes down the road offers the unique experience of a championship golf course on an island in the middle of the river. Sawtell is a fine country layout with panoramic views over the nearby ranges and Safety Beach at Woolgoolga is a testing driving course, crisscrossed by lakes and creeks.

Further south around Port Macquarie and Forster are a string of quality championship golf courses and hidden gems to thrill your golf group.

We can organise 3.5 star twin share rooms right up to 5 star penthouses according to your needs. We also ensure that they are all close to great restaurants and bars.

There are now direct flights to Coffs Harbour from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and  Canberra.

See below the courses you could play and sample itineraries staying either at the Mid North Coast or Coffs Harbour.

Day 1: Arrive in Forster and play the Tuncurry course, part of Foster Tuncurry Golf Club . Rated in the top 100 courses by Australian Golf Digest, this Nagle/Cooper design course is a testing challenge of driving and iron play . But is also gives you options of how to play the hole.

Day 2: 18 holes at  Tallwoods Country Club. A par 72 course carved out of the beautiful forest and around creeks and ponds, it will remind you of Bonville.

Day 3: Play at the Forster course of the Forster Tuncurry Golf Club. The par 66 seaside parkland course will test out your iron play with six par 3’s . A change up from the previous two days.

Day4:  Travel to the Port Macquarie end of the coastline and play the championship Port Macquarie golf course or stop 30km shorter and play at another Nagle/Cooper design in the township of Kew.

Day 5:  Checkout and if traveling south and you still want another game nearby, call into Hawks Nest Golf Club. A similar sandbelt course to Tuncurry but more forgiving. With some recent redesign work by Craig Parry, it is well worth the side trip.
