The Southern Highlands has long been a holiday playground but it also a great golf destination. With four golf courses close to the some of the most boutique towns in NSW, it is an easy golf trip. The golf courses reflect the history of golf in Australia, designed by the first golf course architects and reflect a grand period of golf course design. Others are more modern designs and reflect a different character.
They can also be combined with or you can do as a standalone tour to the Illawarra. Great layouts by the sea with the Illawarra Escarpment as your backdrop. We do customised tours which take the worry and the hassle out of your golf tour. We organise your prefered standard of accommodation close to the bars and restaurants and give you tips on how you could taste the region as well.

Tour Itineraries

Southern Highlands Long Weekender

Fri: Arrive in the Southern Highlands and play at Highlands Golf Course in Mittagong with its memorable 18th hole. Then check in to either budget accommodation in Mittagong or 4.5 star apartments in Bowral

Sat: 18 holes at the championship Mt Broughton Country Club. A links style course designed by Australian Open champion and local Frank Phillips.

Sun: 18 holes at the oldest golf club in the Southern Highlands and designed by one of the fathers of Australian golf course design Carnegie Clark. The beautiful Bowral Golf Club

Mon: 18 holes at the parkland course that is Moss Vale Golf Club. Another course designed by Carnegie Clark

Tues: Stay on an extra day if you want and nip down Macquarie Pass and check out 18 holes at the beautiful Calderwood Valley.

Illawarra Highlights Tour

Thurs: Arrive in the Illawarra and do 18 holes of golf at The Grange. A beautiful tree lined course with some stunning holes beside Mullet Creek. Then check-in to your accommodation in the funky village location that is Shell Harbour

Fri: 18 holes at the championship Port Kembla Golf Club . Recently redesigned by James Wilcher , it is the true test of Illawarra golf.

Sat: 18 holes at the stunning Calderwood Valley . A full public golf course, it provides playability for higher handicaps players and challenges for the low markers

Sun: 18 holes at the Links at Shell Cove. A challenging links course which also involves managing the wind and the water carries.

Mon: Stay an extra day if you want and play Wollongong Golf Club, a 100% links course by the beach and the CBD.
